LEONARD RAVENHILL SERMON QUESTION

I was just listening to Leonard Ravenhill's message on "Choosing Rather to Suffer".....he mentions a preacher he met "40 years ago in Wales" who preaches at a Bethesda Church in North Ft. Worth (Texas)......who preaches on Tuesday mornings at 10am what he "cannot preach in his church" and says we should listen to him sometime.....BUT he never mentions the man's name that I could tell.....Does anyone happen to know who he is referring to?

This would be interesting to find out. I wonder if Ravenhill's biographer knows? Anyone here have contact with someone in Texas who knew Mr. L. R.?

It was most likely Pastor Des Evans. He was at the Bethesda Community Church 1976-2011. www.desevans.com . I did a google search with his name and there is a site that says "about us" Also find sermons by search~ Des Evans sermons~. One says Books of the Bible by him. I certainly will want to listen to any that Pastor Ravenhill suggested.Thank you.
