Do not link to outside media including SERMONS and VIDEOS from other websites, the main reason for the inclusion of this rule is abuse of it in posting audio sermons that have false doctrine or false emphasis.
Many times when I go to post here I would like to ask opinions on articles that I've read in various media outlets.
As a user I have 2 options:
1) Post a link to a news source and quote the part of the article that I'm concerned about and just deal with the people who point out that we aren't allowed to post links to content outside this site (this approach actually is covered by US copyright law as 'acceptable use').
2) Copy the whole article and then comment on it, which is breaking the law regarding copyright here in the United States.
As you can see by the above it's easier to just say 'forget it' and move along.
I'm not trying to be legalistic but copying and pasting whole articles on this site without permission is against the law and I would hate to see this site be the subject of a lawsuit.
