Waters shall break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert.
Isaiah 35:6
Christ says, "I came that my sheep may have life, and have it
abundantly." John 10:10
Your life-giving water, O God, has embraced us from our mother's womb.
It has baptized us into your saving grace and quenched our thirst when
our spirits are dry. It upholds us in times of ceaseless rain. Thank
you, thank you, Lord. Amen.
