Some of the actual words used for door in parts of the OT and NT translate as portal.
The Lord has taught me over the past couple of years, to be careful when "judging" someone's ministry.
It's like an accident scene. We could be eating dinner in Applebees and see a car crash happen before our very eyes and deem every detail that we saw completely accurate. Someone at the bank down the street witnessed that same accident from another angle and deemed everything that he/she saw completely accurate. Someone in the accident would have another completely accurate view of what happened but everyone would have different angles on it. Some people saw what happened from afar, some people saw what happened a little closer and some people were actually in the accident.
Now, imagine a beam of light coming down and shining on a particular spot. Different onlookers would have different viewpoints but to them, their view would be valid. But we are to not get wrapped up on "that spot" we are to look upward at where that source of light is coming from (God).
EVERYONE interprets everything based on their experience or lack of experience especially when it comes to God's Word. And, when people begin to judge someone else's relationship/experience/ministry with the Lord from an outsider's perspective, they often have on a scrutinizing lenses...their own shaded sunglasses instead of the S-O-Nglasses (Jesus' glasses).
The basics for looking through the lenses of Christ would be first, knowing (because it's Truth) every person is made in the image of God Himself and He designed them to be in right relationship with Himself. He's pursuing everyone's hearts because He loves them and desires them to be with Him. Now, there are people right now who are not with Him (but could change) and those who are (who believed, confessed and received that God's Son, Jesus, came to the earth as a man, died on the cross for the forgiveness of sins so that whoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life.
Now, #1 John Paul is made in the image of God. John Paul Jackson is loved by God. John Paul Jackson is a believer and if you are too, you are his spiritual brother and sister in the house of God. So, now we are in the understanding that as a family member you should honor your brother and sisters even when you don't agree with them... not to slander, destroy or tear down but to encourage in love, direct towards God (because it is God who changes hearts and minds, to build them up ) and to pray for them to know the fullness of God.
Now in leadership, we must first look at the pursuit of this person and their lifestyle. If they are truly pursuing a lifestyle of Jesus, then they would be living a lifestyle of honesty and holiness, be a pursuer of Truth and a lover of God and not of money. And, if he stumbles, have an honest, repentant heart and seek counsel and support of others to walk in the right direction. John Paul Jackson aces all of these categories so far and if you have heard his testimony, you would know that before ministry he was a CEO for a fortune 500 company and gave it all up to be in the ministry.
The Lord has gifted him especially in dreams and interpretations of dreams just like Daniel in the Bible. He teaches on all things out of God's Word but especially teaches on this. For as God made everything for good, satan has made a counterfeit. The Lord has equipped this man for His work to teach how to rightfully interpret your dreams (very Biblical) instead of people seeking out new agers (satan's counterfeit).
In the OT and NT some of the words translated us by scholars so we could read it in english was translated door. But, one of the definitions for the same word is portal. So, it is not unbiblical for it is in scripture and must we all agree as in Truth it reads "nothing is impossible with God." Can we who I'm guessing have not experienced this so are judging based on our own experience of lack thereof rightly judge? I think not. He is an honest man and one who is a friend of God. The Lord probably showed Him something and gave him revelation and authority to speak on it. His fruit clearly seen is fruit from a good tree, God's tree.
In regards to hearing from God, false prophets even though they are false can sometimes hear right words from the Lord just the same as those who are prophetic can sometimes miss the mark when they hear from the Lord but overall, they have a pretty big batting average. False prophets are those who walk in pride and have vain glory. Their ministry focuses on the "I'm great" aspect instead of God is great and he's made us to be great with Him and this is what He's made available to us on the cross. False prophets have you pay money to receive a word, etc. which is NOTHING like John Paul AT ALL!
When weighing people's opinions or weighing your own for that matter, first consider the above and then consider do i know this man? Does he know me? I have I invested in his ministry? Has he invested in my ministry? Does he walk with the Lord and has he personally shared with me what God is revealing to them? Pretty much... do you KNOW the man that you are talking about? If Jesus was right beside you right now, could you say those things to Jesus in the light that you are saying them and know 100% that Jesus would side with you? Would Jesus be proud of your actions or be sad of them?
And even if you were right about another person's ministry would Jesus like your response to others about someone and would He respond the same way with accusations? Remember the woman at the well? How did Jesus respond? Should we act like Jesus or the world? If someone gives slandering responses, dismiss them and seek out to know this person and/or someone who you know is mature in their faith, acts like Jesus in this way and knows the person you're questioning personally. Or, better yet, ask your Dad (God). No, satan is the accuser of the brethren and we must not fall into his trap. Be careful and don't fear, the Lord will rightly show you Himself.
It's sad that today when people finally realized who they fully are in Christ... a son or daughter of the Most High King (a prince or princess), co-heirs, co-laborers, that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is living in you (Holy Spirit) that Christ died for our sozo (translated salvation for us and the Greek word sozo" It was used in the New Testament to describe the salvation of God. It is the salvation that only comes through the name and person of Jesus Christ. It means complete deliverance from your current disposition of your mind, body, spirit and soul. ”Sozo” is deliverance from bad health, poverty, and broken emotions." And the Lord told us to heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out the demons, and said we would clearly hear from Him and know (ginosko) Him. That when people start fully operating as Jesus did in Truth, signs and wonders and miracles, healing and deliverances, raising the dead, going where Dad says to and doing what He says to, receiving divine revelation most people dismiss all people walking as we should to be false apostles or prophets when most of them aren't and are trying to get others to realize that they can do it too because it clearly says that ALL THROUGHOUT the NT and is confirmed through Jesus today. JOHN 14:12 "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father..." Thank God there is more for us that we are not supposed to only walk in words about God with people, only speaking about His Truth but also confirming it with the power He has given us (in Romans).
I encourage everyone, myself included to always read the Bible with the question to God what's more for me here Lord (in Your Word)? Blessings and love to you! For those who have said that JPJ was a false prophet on here they probably didn't really know him and would apologetically admit that if they realized because i know they have the hearts of Jesus. Blessings!
