Am i just being a critic

O the temptation to only talk about revival, and never really travail in prayer. My concern for revival has made me disdain most ministers, esp in my country where the emphasis is on killing one's enemy, healing and prosperity, could it be that i've only ended up developing a spirit of resentment. Oh how i pray for the spirit of love. If u find urself in my shoe, pls let's pray. Although it's so painful seeing our ministers deviate, but only love can stay on her kneel, and birth a revival. GOD Deliver me from criticism, give me a love that prays

Glory to God.

Amen Revival begins in us.

Reading in Acts as my dear sister Ann suggested and she was right the Holy Spirit is making it alive to me like never before. In fact all my reading lately has been more alive of who Jesus is than ever before. Bless you Ann!

Act 2:1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

Act 2:44 Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common,

Act 2:45 and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.

Act 2:46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food WITH GLADNESS AND SIMPLICITY OF HEART,

Act 2:47 PRAISING GOD and having favor with all the people. And THE LORD ADDED TO THE CHURCH DAILY those who were being saved.

Oh, Lord God - bring this kind of revival to us. Bring us to a place where we naturally practice 1 Corinthians 13 from being in Your Presence in Word and prayer that we may bring forth the fruit of it. Galatians 5. The Church needs reviving - yes - we are the Church! It begins with me, it begins with you - yes,it has to begin with all of us.

It's easy to be one.

Jesus was a critic. He critized the pharisees for their hypocricies.

When He spoke to the seven angels over the seven churches, He was critical there as well.

When Revival does come, there will be critism from the pulpit against the hypocrisies of the Church and their leaders.

This kind of critism is to show where a man is going without God to turn him back again, or it will harden him.

What we don't need is condemnation, we have enough of that already.

But Jesus was filled with Love and He could critize because He knew where man was going and they were already condemned if they didn't turn from thier sins. A snap from the lash is good to get our attention so we can turn around and see Jesus.

When we read critism after critism in someone's posting and they don't back it up with hope, we tend to back away from that person because they are being harmful.

When we read of the prophets, it was a message of judgement, but it always followed with a hope, "If you but turn to the Lord, He is gracious to save".

Praise God, I want to pray with you all til revival comes, until we become so saturated with love of God. Amen

Let's not rest with content with the lower stages of our spiritual growth. Let us enter into personal fellowship with God, through the Holy Spirit, that is what Christ gives.

Good calls us to it. Christ lives in heaven to give it to us.
Through the Holy Spirit He gives from Heaven.

One may know the bible and all the words of God, yet may remain weak in spirit. What one needs is to know the Living Word, in which Gods speaks within, with life and power.

All the Prophets down through the ages point to the Son, as the true Prophet.Let us take them defiantly as our teachers, to reveal God in us.

When I speak a word to someone, I desire for the whole meaning of what I speak to to soak into the one that I am addressing. God in these last days has but one word. He desire to have all that word is to enter into our soul, permeate our spirit and refresh us continually.

Let us open our hearts, and God our father will speak into us that word, THIS IS MY SON, in such away that He indeed will be all our own.
