I want to make a reccomendation for Bible studies or just for personal studies and that is the movie "Matthew" put out by the Visual Bible company. I have seen several films about Jesus including Gibson's "The Passion" and The Visual Bible's John and they do not come close to this remarkable film. It is a word for word translation from the NIV. What is really special about it is that it is like when you reread a certain portion of scripture that you have read before, and each time you go back and read it the Holy spirit gives you a new message from it. This movie is powerful and annointed. It stars Bruce Marciano who isn't a well known actor, but he makes for one thought provoking Jesus. 8-)
