Recommended Sermons for Unbelievers?

Hello, I have a favor to ask.

Please post a list of the most useful sermons you know of for unbelievers, for those who have little or no background at all in the Bible whatsoever. Sermons that answer the question "what is Christianity" and why they should believe its claims, overview introduction of the Bible to those who have never read it, etc.

I find it extremely hard to find introductory type sermons made for unbelievers, most seem to be made for those who are already believers and who already have a background in an understanding of the Bible.

Thank you

Hi Single,

Good question. My own experience with evangelism has been that showing forth Christ Who lives in me is the sermon. If one is born again, and taking up their cross to follow our Lord everyday, His Spirit within you will give you the words of Truth and Love of the Gospel. Of course, the Holy Writ is the best place to go and learn of what Christianity truly is.

Blessings,
Kevin

Paris Reidhead's sermons are preached in humility, with practical experience, that I believe even unbelievers can understand - there are some here within the audio-sermons titled, "The Cost Of Dicipleship", you may want to check out starting with the first in its series.

Everything by Brother Edgar Reich here:

"The Tears of God" is a great one, and any of his testimonies are great as well.

But as a believer my favorite sermon of his is: A Beautiful Mind

I cry my eyes out every time I listen to it (well I do most of his sermons), HE IS a beautiful person, I hope that I get to meet him one day (God willing).

Hope this helps you out!

"Why I choose to believe the bible" he came from a buddhist background and never saw a bible til he was in his twenties. He gives a great apologetics based look at the bible and why it is true

Hello Yeshuasboy, jimmyhudson, learjet, madmatg. Thank you for your posts of sermons recommended specifically for unbelievers with no knowledge of the Bible, I will listen to them and see if they are suitable.

If others have other sermons they personally recommend for unbelievers who do not have any background in the Bible or even general Christian cultural ideas please post additions to this list. I want sermons more in depth then a 5 minute tract type of thing though. One idea would be if you know any recordings from an event specifically geared for unbelievers in a non Christian country somewhere to hear the Bible message.

Or if you don't know of 'sermons' per say, I am interested in people posting Bible courses (audio or text) for people with absolutely no concept about what Biblical Christianity even is and have never read the Bible nor were brought up with any relation to Biblical concepts.

I am not looking for college types of courses for academics and the like which use typical theological terminology that only those types of people know the meaning of. I am looking for more of an in depth series of presentations using common sense ideas that could bring anyone in the world into an introductory understanding about the doctrines of the Bible, who God is (and is not) and what He wants of us, etc.
