When you come to Christ, you receive the Spirit of God, you repent from the nature and character of satan, you receive Jesus Christ as your master and you begin turning from these sins. The way you know that you’re turning from them because your heart doesn’t condemn you, you continue to walk in peace and you turn from them and you keep putting them under the blood. You are being washed by the blood, as you repent of these sins, they’re put under the blood and when they’re put under the blood God no longer sees you as a law (covenant) breaker and that’s how the blood is washing you and cleansing you. Eph 5:26 That he might sanctify (make holy) and cleanse (purge) it (the church) with the washing of water by the word.
That’s how you are being born again (continually) by the word of God, the word is washing you, because the word of God explains the nature of God, the nature of God and this gospel. It’s the power of the gospel that forms Jesus in you, so Christ can be formed in you. Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth: (continually). Then you don’t turn back as the Galatians turned back, you go forward, and with it comes sanctification, purifying your heart, without which no one is going to see the Lord. You are going to pursue peace with all men, and you are going to put these sins under the blood and then you’re washed and you’re cleansed, and you’re washed and you’re cleansed, you don’t go back to the sin. Heb 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. If you do not move into holiness you will never see God. To accept Christ into your hearts by a sinners prayer and attend a church, because you got your ticket punched doesn’t make you holy. You are not saved, you will not hold out to the end and you will not see God. Matt 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth (continually) to the end shall be saved. Only these shall be saved the bible says: I wonder why we have never heard these words from the pulpit? 40 years later serving lying preachers I am just learning this from the word of God!
You bear fruit and your fruit remains and you go on in until you possess the land, (your heart) and all of your sin has been put under the blood. For those who think that just believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, died on the cross and raised from the dead, that’s words isn’t it! That’s a commitment that you make when you first start and you receive the Spirit of God. What good is that commitment if you don’t follow through with it? Your words are nothing, then how am I redeemed by the blood? Your not redeemed by the blood until you repent and give up each sin. Each sin as you give it up, and you’ve really turned from it and you put it under the blood, that is when you’re redeemed from it. It doesn’t go under the blood until you repent and turn from it. Being redeemed by the blood is being washed by the blood. You are not cleansed from a sin until you repent from it. Saying that you believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, died on the cross and raised from the dead does not mean you turned from it, or you will be like those in Gal 2 walking in sin and telling people I’m being lead by Christ.
If I start to rebuild what I have once destroyed Gal 2:18 Paul says For if I build again the things which I destroyed, (sin) I make myself a transgressor. I prove myself once again to be a transgressor. (sinner) If I repent from it and go back to it I’m not redeemed, I’ve not endured to the end, I’ve fallen away from the faith. The works of the flesh, you are not redeemed from them until you have truly repented from them in your heart. This will put the fear of God in you and will help your walk. Pro 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but the fools despise wisdom and instruction. If I have repented of slander, unforgiveness, bitterness, envy, strife, criticism, and I haven’t turned from it in my heart, have I repented? I’m not being sanctified, I’m walking double minded. You have not really been redeemed until you turn from it. How can you be redeemed from something you love. If you love the character and nature of satan and do not do away with the selfish nature of satan, you better fear least you come short of it, Heb 4:1 Let us therefore fear lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. You are to pursue peace with all men by doing away with the selfish nature of satan, and you better be sanctified to have a pure heart without which no one is going to see the Lord.
Is righteousness keeping the commandments of God? If I want to do away with everything but bitterness and unforgiveness, I’m still breaking the commandments aren’t I? I’m still practicing sin and I can’t enter into the kingdom of God. I have made an idol out of my sins and I am worshiping other gods. We are to love the Lord with all our heart and he will bring it to pass. This is the truth and the truth will set you free. John 8:31-32 &36 If you continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Titus 2:11-12 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lust, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Ungodliness, is not acting like God! What is not acting like God? To act like the nature and character of satan, which is the deeds of the flesh. Deny ungodliness, a form of godliness is ungodliness. Titus 2:13-14 “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ. Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good words.” Everyone who is looking for the blessed hope is purifying himself, (a wise virgin). He is going to redeem us from every lawless deed and purify us. Redeem and purify go together. He redeems you and he purify s you. If he is not purifying you he is not redeeming you from every lawless deed! That is what Jesus did at Calvary, we have the blood, we have the victory! You cannot get redeemed from every lawless deed that you choose not to give up because you don’t love the Lord with all your heart!! Repentance is turning from it without regret! A worldly sorrow is what we have been taught to say some words and be sorry, it’s a form of godliness.
Titus 3:3-5 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; It’s not the deeds of righteousness that’s going to save you, but Jesus saved us by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit brings the word and He starts washing your heart and renewing your mind. If you wash your heart of rebellion, it renews your mind and you think and act more like the Lord. As a result of the Spirit of God washing your heart, and removing selfishness from it, is all you have to do is obey. It’s not you that does it, you can’t do it. If you think you can, you are building another tower into heaven. The Spirit of God removes from your heart all selfishness when you suffer in the flesh, by putting it to death and the result is your going to have a heart that loves God and loves your neighbor as yourself. The branch cannot bear fruit apart from Jesus the true vine and you fulfill the law of God.
Salvation is loving the Lord more than doing any deeds of the flesh, and when you see in the word of God and the Spirit shows you, you are doing something wrong you repent from it, turn away from it, and don’t turn back to it, the result of loving the Lord with all your hearts is going to cause you to obey the commandments of God. Salvation is loving the Lord with all your heart, loving your neighbor as yourself and abiding in the word and in the Lord and enduring to the very end. That is true salvation, not the watered down version that we have gotten from the pulpit for the last 60 years! This is not what they teach today, remember according to the word of God, Sanctification = a pure heart = holiness and then you shall see God! I Cor 6:9-11 Know ye not that the unrighteous (practicing sin) shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, no thieves nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
