the battle of sexuality- 'Purity Ball'

I came across this story this morning and found it to be a bit weird. I think the intentions are good but the way they are going about it is just weird. Some of it is just plain out freaky. What do you think?

I have never heard of this.

This becomes a sensitive topic the more conservative a person gets.
I am wondering how many sermons sermonindex has dealing with sexuality in general and how some of it could relate to this article.
