Psalm 18:25-29

A son honors his father. If then I am a father, where is the honor due
me? says the Lord. Malachi 1:6
To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and
glory forever and ever. 1 Timothy 1:17
Heavenly Father, it's hard for us to face the brutal truth that we often
ignore you. We separate ourselves from you. We withhold our hearts from
the very one who created them. Forgive us and receive us, we pray. Amen.
