Love.

And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. This came from a Pastor's post in answer to someone's question of how do we get where we need to be, relationally with one another. Good question.

He first explained that The LORD gave him this visual some time back.
I love the simplicity of this answer.

Each one of the little dots are varying distances from the large dot. In other words, some are closer to Christ and the center of His will than others. We do not need to compromise in order to be closer to one another.
Instead, we all should seek to be closer to Jesus. When we get closer to Jesus we will be closer to each other."

Now our hearts have been circumcised and we have His Love.

The church at Ephesus had all of their doctrine straight and didn't bear with anything or anybody that was false or evil, but they lost their love.

1Jn 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected in us.

John learned and knew true agape, which put him the closest to Jesus, the closest to that dot in the center of that circle, with his head on Jesus' chest at the last supper - the disciple that Jesus loved, that became a son for Mary and was given The Revelation, Because he learned that love above all the others, as shown in his epistles and his last words in his closing years, "love one another".

Satan [the father of hate] knows all of the verses in the first post Very well - so it seems that love is what we are tested on the most - daily. We either love God 'and' others or we hate Both. There's no inbetweens in Scripture. All sin is birthed from hatred of Both.
But Satan cannot bring any temptation into our lives without it being 'allowed' by GOD first - Romans 8:28-29.
Every successful temptation to go against the love of GOD within us, is to show us that we're not perfected in His love as yet - and that is His way of taking us deeper still. His love is our cross of death to self.
So - We do Praise Him in each storm/test. Better to be 'tried' now than when actual persecution begins, and before we have to stand before Him and look into His Eyes.

"For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword [Rev 1:16], piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His Sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the Eyes of Him with Whom we have to do."

Father, have mercy on us all. Let us See ourselves solely by Your Word and through Your Eyes.
That the eyes of our understanding be enlightened to our lack of Your love for You and others. Even our enemies. Even if it kills us. Amen, and Amen, our GOD, through Christ Jesus our only Saviour we pray.

Satan may be roaming around seeking whom he may devour, but the lessons learned in Job is that he has to go through GOD first for permission.
Romans 8:28 is 'for' 29. All things to work us into His Image.
