The Making of a Man of God - book by Alan Redpath

I just found a book in a Charity shop by Alan Redpath called 'The making of a man of God'. I had not read any books by him before, but had heard some sermons from SI, so naturally I bought it.

I have only just read the first few chapters and this book is a treasure! Has anyone read it? It is about the life of David and draws out great spiritual lessons for us to learn. Alan is so good at writing those things that both challange and encourage us to examine our lives in the light of God. Ah, such meat to feed on!

What's great is I got it for £0.7 pounds and I see a re-printed version is going on Amazon for over £10. However it is worth £10 of anyones money I think.

Yes, back in 2005 my pastor bought a box of these and we planned on going through it chapter by chapter. Not sure what happened but we never did. It's going for $2.99 on Faithlife eBooks at the moment.
