Those who don’t love the USA

If you live in the USA and don’t love it then why don’t you leave? I mean nobody is holding you here because it is still a free country so you can move about even move all the way out. I mean go to a communist country or even a Muslim country but maybe you should just go to some place that hates the USA if it makes you happier. Maybe I’m being a little sarcastic but I don’t see how downing the USA can even help you be a good witness for Jesus Christ. Just some thoughts…rbanks

Sister,

I would ask that we not make personal inclinations and comments towards each other in these forums that are not edifying or uplifiting. the USA and many other countries are getting more and more anti-Christ. And as our Lord said "All nations will hate you for my names sake" this means every nation including America.

We must be ready for persecution. Our allegiance is to Christ not to an earthly country, yet we should be the best upstanding citizens in any country were we live.

Watchman Nee has a great little book called, "Love Not The World". I think he puts into proper perspective the world and the things in the world. One of the best books I have read on a Christian's relationship with the world. It really helped me as a young Christian and opened up the eyes of my understanding giving me a proper persective of being a citizen of heaven and passing through the kingdoms of this world.

1Jn 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Greg its "brother" and I understand.

Pilgrim I agree but the bible also says “God so loved the world” and we know the difference in the world and in the world system. I don’t think God is displeased with being thankful for the good about the USA and to appreciate living in a free country.
