A litural ending to the age according to the scriptures

Matt 24
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

In the scriptures it predicts persecution in every nation including America. One thing is when we tend to read the scriptures we tend to read the bits that we like! The Jews tended to read the passages concerning a reigning messiah rather than a suffering one.

We can be guilty of that.

Matthew 24:15 KJV
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth , let him understand :)

The bible talks about the abomination of desolation stand in the Holy Place and in the Temple this must me mean a third temple. At the moment there are Muslims at the site of the temple and I have heard different interpretation on how the future scriptures will be played out.

The bible states that Damascus will be destroyed and other things.

The things is that even these verses have ramifications, how will damascus will be destroyed, what happens if every country is under persection including America what will christians do, How will the third temple be built and what about the Mosque?

This touches on only a small study of the prophecy's in scripture that have yet to be fulfilled. My problem is not the passages but say how will God keep me during times of persecution and how will the gospel be spread.

I think the practicalness of scripture has been lost. We know this and this in scripture but we do not know exactly how this passage will be fulfilled.

I need gods grace to keep me to get through one ounce of persecution and to not get deceived as I know I can.
I seem very helpless except for a Great God in a ungodly world that is heading full speed to Hell. The bible predicts that.

Matt 24
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come

Talk about people even getting saved till the end.

What I find fascinating is that we tend to concentrate on Sanctification and I so need to be Sanctifying and I so need Jesus more the universe could not contain how much I need Jesus.

We should be seeking to glorify Jesus in every aspect of believe the bible 100% that he will fufill his words but his words have a practical outcome especially passages in Ezekial and Jeremiah in Todays world.

How do we prepare for times or can we prepare for worse times and how do we live in hard times like we live in Good times.

I too, do not know how I will make if I shall live to be/ see these things spoke about in the end times.

Infact, who of us can truly read our own hearts ? ...Have you ever had something happen in your life when you JUST KNEW you would handle
it one way, and you handled it completly opposite from what you just knew you would do ?

I believe,it is the closeness with the Lord that is going to help us to overcome. Just as the Word says, for us ,as a requirement for us to do,....
That is to love the Lord,our God with all of our heart,soul,mind,strength.
* God being the Word / Spirit,...(as we have fellowship / communion..
(talking with Him ), obeying His voice as He talks to us.

The Word says," perfect love casteth out fear. So when we love God like this,..then we do not fear,..because we will have an inner trust and peace.
I find when I am loving the Lord like this,..that is what happens but
when I get carried away in my heart and mind into much other erea's
then fear will come,and disrupts what God wants for me.

Have I arrived, NO ! ..but there is a goal that is set before us that we reach
Fafter.
I have been noticing a prayer my son has been praying ,.. and I too began praying it....'cause me to love You Lord !'

The Lord saved Steven when He brought him all the way through and out the other side still IN Him.He saved him to the utter most.and it said,'and he fell asleep....now wasn't that peaceful ?
And look how he love the people, like Jesus loved them,..' Do not hold this to there charge ' only by our loving God like this,can this type of love be worked in us.
The Lord is not a respecter of persons; this can also be worked in us...Infact ,He wants to work this in us.
