I just wanted to share with you all a bit of my testimony in hopes to bring encouragement. I have gone on a roller coaster ride what seems the past several months as my wife and I were seperate. The reason and details don't really matter to show grace and love.
I grew up a pretty simple life and just like any american boy should, but when I was in the 1st grade my father did some unlawful thing and was sent to prison and my happy little world was shattered. For 2 and a half years my poor mother had to fend for herself and raise 4 children on her own. We moved often and many nights PB and J was the meal (not that this was bad in fact in some countries it that's excellent).
Anyways, my father served his time but my family was still shattered into bits. My mother had divorce papers ready to go and all seemed lost. However God had a bigger plan, the Road of Restoration. It's a long and hard road BUT a rewarding one. I will be happy to say my mother didn't divorce my father and my family is still intact. I have a wonderful relationship with my father and mother both along with my siblings. Why? Faith, Hope, and Love. Not to mention Mercy, Forgiveness, and Grace. Found where? In Christ Jesus.
Fastfoward to my current situation, though not perfect, my heart still carries faith, hope and Love so all is not lost. God is so good to me and my wife that He sees to it that we may walk down the same road of restoration my father and mother walked down. And I believe it was only possible because of the faith cultivated from my past. When I wanted to give up Christ poured out mercy and grace in my heart and told me "Longsuffer son" and so I did. Christ is still working in my heart and my wife's heart and things are still rocky BUT there is hope. Restoration is coming and it has been found in Christ.
That is the basis of my ministry, the ministry Satan tired to destroy, my message is what I lived true Restoration is Found IN Christ. If you are going through something rough KNOW this Christ is the restoring of all things broken. There is always hope, always faith, and always love.
