Psalm 38:17-22
Exodus 29:31-30:16; Matthew 26:14-30
I know, my God, that you search the heart, and take pleasure in
uprightness. 1 Chronicles 29:17
Christ says, "Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything
against anyone; so that your Fa-ther in heaven may also forgive you your
trespasses." Mark 11:25
It is so easy, forgiving God, to accept your forgiveness. It is even
fairly easy to confess our sins to you. What is much more difficult is
for us to reach out and forgive those who we feel have done us some kind
of harm. Today, we are determined to remember any person who we feel has
done us wrong and to bring that person to you in intercession. We ask
you to give us the strength to forgive that person. Amen.
