I was scanning the newspaper from my hometown online this morning and saw that someone I know from high school will be going away to prison for a long time.
I'll remove his name, but here's what the article said:
A police raid late Monday at an alleged meth lab resulted in five arrests and the seizure of drugs, weapons and money.Around 11:45 p.m. Monday, several state police teams executed a search warrant at 8302 County Route 5 and took five people at the residence into custody.
During a search of the residence, police seized methamphetamine, meth-making materials, multiple illegally possessed firearms, cash and an ATV, which was reported stolen.
Authorities did not say how much meth was recovered, but it was at least a gram.
Arrested were:
• Edward ******, 46, who lived at the raided home. He was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was jailed without bail. ****** has served separate terms for attempted robbery, attempted burglary and driving while intoxicated.
I had heard that he did time for several assault charges, including assault with a deadly weapon.
Please pray for Eddie's salvation.
In high school I "hated" him (I wasnt saved). He beat me up on a regular basis from 8th grade until 10th grade. He was a bully and just plain mean. There's no other way to describe the guy.
In 10th grade I grew bigger than him, and was playing football... so all my friends on the football team were bigger than him... and he left me alone after that.
We all breathed a sigh of relief when Eddie dropped out of high school. I have not heard a word about him in years until I read this this morning.
Please pray for me as I am going to attempt to send a letter to him and share the gospel. If I didnt live 6 states away I would visit him in person. Pray also that the Lord will put ministers of the gospel in his path.
Eddie needs the Lord.
