WOW! I listened to this sermon last night and have never heard anything so profound and full of insight. What made the biggest impression on me was the idea of the Levite being capable of selling himself short and settling and not thinking what he was doing was a big deal (twice!) I heard this sermon at a precise moment in my life where I was in the very position the Levite was in (and didn't even know it until I heard this). I was considering something that I knew wasn't right and more importantly I was almost convinced everything would be ok. It wasn't until I heard this sermon that I realized I was contemplating "selling myself short" after all I've accomplished spiritually. I was about to trade in all my spiritual growth and more importantly ALL THAT JESUS DID FOR ME for "10 shekels and a shirt." I was horrified!! It was very sobering to realize how deceived I was about the situation and how one little decision could have had grave (pun intended) consequences. God's timing is truly amazing and I'm so grateful for the ways He uses to get his point across. Praise and Glory to Him!!!
