It's Easter! Happy Easter y'all! Here's a short text sermonette that went up this morning. I pray that it'll edify and serve you amazing people, reminding some of you of the awesomeness of Christ!
Actually it's not Easter. Easter is a pagan holiday descended from the worship of ancient pagan Babylonian idol named Ishtar. It is better to call it Resurrection Day. But your joy and intent is wonderful! Yes, praise God, He is alive!
It's actually around the time of the Passover, following the Paschal moon as decided by Constantine at the Council of Nicaea in 325AD. This is, in all likelihood when it happened because Jesus died during the season of the Passover, after he had eaten the feast of the Passover with his disciples which most people call the "last supper."
And the very same Spirit that rose Jesus from the dead is also giving life to our mortal bodies. Halleujah!!!!!!! For the LORD HAS RISEN!!!!!!!
