Nancy DeMoss has been doing a series on "Humility: Coming to God on His Terms". The last two days she has been covering the Asbury Revival (35 yrs. ago) I didn't even know they had one :-o , but it is in our home state of Kentucky. she has been interviewing Dr. Dennis Kinlaw, the president who was there I believe.Anyway, if anyone is interested it's here: http://www.reviveourhearts.com/radio/today/25735In His love, Chanin

I can actually get you a video of the dean of Asbury speaking about this revival. It includes news reel photoage and things. There was another Great revival not to far from there also, though it was many years before, many know it as the "Cane Ridge Revival" some have actually called it the second Great Awakening.

There was occourances of barking and others obviously fleshy outbursts in some venues during this revival time. But overall God was doing an awesome work. Here is a page with some information on it: http://www.sendrevival.com/history/caneridge/index.htm(*note some of the materials are quoted in a way to make some so called revival movmeents to be justified such as occourances of barking, etc.)
