Psalm 55:9-15
Leviticus 20:9-21:12; Mark 6:45-56
Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God; For I shall yet praise him, The help of my countenance and
my God. Psalm 42:11 (NKJV)
After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who
has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore,
support, strengthen and establish you. 1 Peter 5:10
Jesus, you know our sorrows and our struggles. We pray for renewal and
strength, not only for ourselves but for all those who are weak and
discouraged today. Wrap us in your comfort; restore us to your service.
