Psalm 57:7-11
Leviticus 26:1-35; Mark 8:22-38
When I gather the people of Israel from the nations where they have been
scattered, I will show myself holy among them in the sight of the
nations. Ezekiel 28:25 (NIV)
The gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. Romans 11:29
God of Sarah and Abraham, Isaac and Rebekah, today we are reminded of
your special tie with the Jewish people and are reminded that our Lord
Jesus was of the Jewish faith. May we both learn from and share with
these brothers and sisters in faith. Amen.
