Bill Gothard | Upcoming Conferences!

Dear friends,

I cannot remember when we have had a greater response to a Regional Conference than the one we had last week after Big Sandy. Near the end of the week people began coming up and saying “I know you say each year that this is the best conference. But really, this year’s was beyond them all!” One man stated, “The message I just heard was the greatest message I have heard in the 27 years I have been coming to these events!”

It was not just the greatest conference ever, but it gave all of us a whole new perspective on living out the Christian life. Therefore, I urge you to make every effort to make the Nashville Conference May 29-June 1, the Sacramento Conference June 26-29, or the Indianapolis Conference June 31-August 3.

Remember that all alumni of the Basic Seminar are invited to attend this powerful event!

I went to a Bill Gothard conference with another minister about 14 years ago and even got some of his materials. He seems to be excellent in morals and I remember how he was very convincing on things he believe the Lord showed him. At that time he was telling the preachers that they should preach first and then sing and take up the offering last. I think some really started trying to do what he said.

I really think the man has some good material but I wouldn't swallow everything like hook, line, and sinker. I don't know how he is now, but then I felt like something was missing like maybe the baptism in the Holy Ghost and more of a freedom in the Spirit.

Anyway that was back then! I guess I can't help it, but I just love good Holy Ghost preaching!
