Sixth Sunday of Easter

I am merciful, says the Lord; I will not be angry forever. Only
acknowledge your guilt, that you have rebelled against the Lord your
God. Jeremiah 3:12-13
I will get up and go to my father, and I will say to him, "Father, I
have sinned against heaven and before you." Luke 15:18
Giver of second chances, sometimes we remember that you expect much of
us and hold us to account, and we forget you never give up on us and are
always ready to give us another chance. Open our hearts to give the same
to our sisters and brothers. Amen.
