love extravagantly

“God is Love.”

To have God, we must love extravagantly. Even with broken expectations. Even if we don’t get what we want. Even when God wants—but we don’t. Not to ignore sins that wound Jesus. That wouldn’t be Love. That’s not what I’m saying. I AM saying this: If you won’t love in an imperfect world, you can never really have God. God is LOVE. Drop your defenses, your fear, your selfishness, your pride... Take a chance. God is waiting for you right there.

This is the desire of my heart to love HIM with out fear or regard for self and to love others as HE would have me to. Read this tonight and thought it worth sharing this thought.
