What About Unity?

This is the beginning of the enemies last day army. This is satan's ultimate deception. His ultimate power of destruction is released when he uses Christians to attack one another - attributed to The Lord in Final Quest

How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! - Psalm 133:1

If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. - Mark 3:24

Are our words, thoughts, and actions producing God's unity with other Christians or divisive destruction that serves the enemy?

Many have heard the old adage-

In essentials unity
In non essentials liberty
In all things charity (which is love)

If that be so then it raises a couple of important question for me.

1. What EXACTLY AND SPECIFICALLY rises to the level of "essentials"?.
2. If something does not rise to the level of those specific things then should we be very, very hesitant to draw distinctions and attention to it at all? What is and is not worth the discord expressing those different opinions brings?

Those are very important questions. EXACTLY what is worth drawing lines over and what is not. If we follow the above advice it seems we may have far, far fewer disagreements and as a result a far, far more effective witness to the world.
