What is WRONG With THIS World ?

A horrible thing happened in my husbands family this week.
Two of our family members were murdered.

And I ask myself this question,...

What in the world is wrong with this world ?
And I thought,...It is ME,... And all of us ( forgive me ),that call ourselves
Christians...followers of Christ ?
Because why is there not a difference being made in our communities ?
...in this world ?
At one time, in this world, in the Word it said,if these Christians were allowed to continue their strong witness ( their doing of the will of God ),
that they would turn the world up-side-down.

But what is turning the world upside down ?...Evil men ! ...they need a desire for God ...they need such exemplary Christians until these sinners will desire what we have in Christ. Where is the magnitism ? So many need Him too.

SALT,...Have we lost our SALT? ...Have we got no oil ?

What is wrong ?
I know the Word says that evil will wax worse and worse,..
But please Lord help me make a difference !

I hope you can bear with me in my deep thought provoking thoughts.

The reading of this was very much startling.
I'm feeling so terrible for you and this circumstance, Elizabeth. It is something unimaginable.

Speaking for myself, now is not the time to respond to the desperate question you posed: "What is wrong with this world?"; although the scriptural answer is indeed available.

Dear sister,

Oh that was terrible and I pray sincerely for the family. god, be with them.

There will be times of trials and tribulations in a believer’s life. Things beyond reasoning and explanation might happen and we may even be ridiculed by non believers who may ask ‘why these things happen to you and where is your god’. All we can and have to do is ‘be still and know that He is god’.

I guess the reason for god to allow such incidents in our lives are to test if our love and devotion is dependent on our situations. When He sees that it is beyond our circumstances, He is well pleased and we are elevated to a higher level spiritually.

About the world, it works in a different system, with a different spirit.

1 Cor 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God,

John 14:17 {that is} the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, {but} you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.

We are on a battle field. Never be discouraged. Our lord is on our side in this battle. He knows when and how to help us win in this battle.

Eph 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual {forces} of wickedness in the heavenly {places.}

May god bless you and give you an abundant supply of grace, when you go through this difficult time. Let us all pray and ask our heavenly father to comfort us and strengthen us more and more, through His spirit. Amen.

I really appreciate you all, and the prayers that have went forth from you,
for this / the family, yes it was quite a week,last week for all,most especially the immediate one's.

I heard one's say,that this couple had changed recently,..and I was thinking on that today....about the man when he was on the cross beside Jesus,.he made a change,and he was took / died that day,..the Lord saved him....

Maybe the Lord would take someone that He saved, right away,and they would not have a chance to turn back again,...into sin....I don't know.

But I hope.

I know it is a risky thing to wait.

As for my husband,..he seems to hold up pretty well under the circumstances.

Approved, this was my thoughts,today,before you even asked,...so
I hope it does not sound to pertenant or not proper.
