How do you explain a seemingly supernatural event which happened to me?

This incident happened to me this morning on the way to work between 4 am and 4:25am. Before I back out of the garage I usually take my work ID from the middle console and put it in my lap so I know I have it. When I got to work I usually get there up to 5 minutes early so I just listen to the rado while the car is off. This morning I went to reach for my id and I found something else there as well. A CD that has been stuck in my cd player. It was stuck in the cd player after I played with it trying to get it out a while back. I decided to just leave it alone and not worry about it anymore. Well, Suddenly I find this very CD in my lap with my id.

When I got out of work today I took the cd and pushed it into the player, just a little, because I wanted to see if the player was still jammed and it was. I told my wife about it and she was freaking out. How does a person explain this one? I should ask an Athiest about it and get their take as well. Should be amusing to hear them become like a politician.

Good call KK but let to tell you a little about the cd player. I always have the radio on while driving listen to some form of talk radio. To get the cd out the radio has to go off and the face flips downward and then the cd will be ejected. Unless the face flips down or comes completely off the cd has no way of coming out. The face was on the whole time because the radio was never turned off until I took the key out of the ignition.

John, you may not know it but males are notorious for misplacing items and then being unable to find them, just like Krispy said. If you have children you can blame them but once they are gone and it is only you and your wife, guess whose fault it is then! lol Maybe you are now discovering it as well??

It helps a lot to be able to laugh...:-) You'll sure get a lot of reasons to do so as life goes on.

Yeah, I Do misplace some things around the house. I don't have any kids. Just my wife and I. I don't even listen to CD's much anymore. I listen to more talk radio stuff. I listen to that more that music in general. This is why it shocked me to see this CD show up because it has been in the cd player for some 2 years? I used to have trouble getting it out and then I used screwdriver to try to pry it out only to make it worse. Then I thought, well, I will just leave it in there since I don't listen to music as much as I used to.

I really don't think it was misplacing the cd because I know where it was. Just not sure how it got from point A to point B. I like mystery behind this.....

I cannot explain any purpose to it. Even if the cd player was functioning and I could play cd's in it I wouldn't simply because I don't listen to alot of music like I used to do. I have talk radio format on when in the car. If it isn't sports it is an npr format or a regular talk show host minus the well know conservative talk shows hosts.

Even when I weightlift at home I have some cd's and I usually have the radio on. I only play a cd if I am fixing to hit a heavy weight and I wanna use the music to push my psyche over the edge, so to speak.

I like the mystery behind this thing though.

once i hung a cross in my bath on a tap ,and i prayed and medatated for a good 45 miutes ,,glancing every now and then at the cross ,,,,i left the bath and went out side ,and my wife had a quick shower and came out ,,i went in to grab my cross neck lace from the tap ,and it was gone ,,,i strait away asked my wife what she did with the cross ,she said she never saw it in the shower ,,,

looked all round the shower ,and low behold ,,it had been placed on a peice of soap wityh the chain wrped ina little circul on the window sill,,,,,my wife insisted she nevev touched it

we didnt have any one else in the house at the time

i belive it was defentity supanaturel

Well it sounds alot like me when i put the tea kettle on the stove and forget i ever put it on, until it whistles.

Pray tell, were you praying to the cross? Do you pray to crosses, like a Catholic uses rosary beads? What is the reason for bringing the cross into the tub and hanging it there?

yep i was worshiping the cross , every know and then i would kiss it and call it god ,,then i would pray ten hail maryies , then call upon five dead saints for a blessing ,thats why i brought the cross in you silly person ,,,and i did it just the way every other orthdox prodastant would do it ,amen

Well i can only go by your own words and what you wrote, i don't know you so i was just asking. It wouldnt be the first time i met a man who called himself a Christian and wasn't, afterall.

Now, next i would like to know if you used bubble bath and if so, what brand...LOL

Several years ago, one of my friends had a classic Chevy Camaro. They had borrowed a sermon from me and listened to it over and over again. However, the sermon somehow became stuck in the car's stereo. So, they listened to that sermon over and over again. On that particular model of stereo, the radio would not play if inserted media was in play. If you turned on the stereo, you simply heard the sermon...repeating.

My friend tried everything to remove the sermon...but to no avail. Eventually, the car was sold along with the sermon in it.

I have always wondered why it happened. Now, I can imagine all of the physical issues that led to the sermon getting "jammed" or "stuck" in the stereo. I have simply wondered about any eternal reasons for it. I have wondered if my friend -- or the person who eventually bought the car (or purchased the stereo that the person who bought the car might have removed and sold) -- may have needed to hear it.

I suppose I may finally know when we reach the other side of the glass darkly of Eternity!

i think the cross was a gift from mum
and i hung it there becasue it reminded me of what jesus did on it ,,,,i sopose it is like praying in some churches ,,evey now and then you open your eyes and see the cross on the pulpit , and it reminds us of what he did ,,,,,,comparing it what how i understand idolarty, it wasnt the same

The band is Type O Negative. The title of the cd is called 'October Rust'

This whole scenerio leads to me wonder something else. How willing are we to acknowledge when something supernatural happens even if it doesn't make any sense? Whether or not this event was supernatural - it seems like it is even though it makes no sense why it happened. When could a person say something like this is supernatural vs. using a natural excuse to solve the problem?

I really didn't care if I could play this cd again personally. The cd player does not work and I don't care if it does since I really don't use it anymore.
