God is a Father. He comforts us in view of impending hardships, assuring us that He knows those who trust in Him, promising that their trust will not be disappointed. Indeed, we have no reason to doubt such a God who with His Son Jesus Christ endured the depths of suffering for our sakes.
At Calvary God proved the greatness of His love. And because God is eternally the same, He will also prove His love in times of great distress. Yes, He will take care of us and help us.
