Psalm 84:1-7
Deuteronomy 23:1-24:13; Luke 9:1-11
You sweep them away; they are like a dream, like grass, in the morning it flourishes and is renewed; in the evening it fades and withers. Psalm 90:5,6
What is sown is perishable, what is raised is imperishable. 1 Corinthians 15:42
Dear Lord, give us the insight to reject those things that are temporal and select what is renewing and imperishable. Our prayer life helps us judge those things which are most valuable. Amen.
