Pilgrim, that Museum of Idolatry is so dark, it would make Madame Tussaud remove her age inappropriate disclaimers from the dungeon of horrors and give an infant discount.

So sad, though. How many of these deceived have any clues where they are with God? They just look like some secular entertainers who cannot make it on the national scene so they look to gullible religious folks to practice their craft on.

I wonder a lot if the modern Protestant church is not much worst then the Catholic church was back in the 1500s, the era of time when the Reformation began.

My sincerest apologies. The computer I used to post these had all the videos blocked so I was not able to see them. I posted just based on reading a few of the "exhibits". Lesson learned.

I went and googled this site that you posted since the link didn't show up. I went through it to see what is going on. The tight jeans video was pointless. I got through half of it and stopped because it was a waste of bandwidth. As I passed on through it I kept thinking to myself, why is this not of God and why is this site showing it is deception?

The answers that came was that of lifting up entertainment in the house of God. Jesus said My house shall be a house of Prayer but you have made it a den of thieves. These days I think we can add entertainment into that as well. In reality, anything taking place in a church that is not allowing anyone to come and pray yet who does that anymore in church these days? On Wednesday night in any given church you may see the sign ' bible study and prayer meeting'. The latter part of it is nearly always missing.

Anyway, looking through some of the other stuff, the more I go through it the more I see entertainment and an appeal to the emotions and that is so deceptive. Does this go past what we might call the liberal church?

The church I go to flirts with this but they use technology in order to inform people. some examples are using video, before service begins, with an associate pastor to tell everyone some of the happenings going on during the week and how we can get involved. Though they 'pass the plate' there is also an atm type machine in the lobby in which anyone can make a tithe on their own if they wish. There is a service across the street in an overflow place in which people can come as they are and you know what that means, right? I have never been there but I have gone to the Saturday night service which is come as you are. The crowd is mostly 30 plus in age and they have about 50 people there. There is no kind of altar call and a brief time of prayer. This is a Nazarene church.

There is also another church down the road called TBA church which stands for Together, believing , Achieving. They have helped a family in rebuilding their home after a fire gutted it. The name of the church seems to be one of being 'hip' with the times.

When I step back and think about the consequences and the reaping of the harvest of souls from these exhibits I can't help but think of people who know of God but really don't know about God personally because entertainment is the drug of choice to get to God. This is how I see it from the visual yet a person needs to talk to these people involved to find out where their heart is as well. We can judge a book by its cover for so long but that judgment can be wrong as well especially if we think 'tradition' is Godly if you know what I mean?
