Newt's latest project

PSA

I received an automated phone call last week from Newt's wife. In this call she talked about the American heritage and how Godly it was and how the liberals have taken it out of society. She mentions that she and Newt have or are putting together some movie that deals with it but I don't remember what she called it. I didn't hang up on this because I wanted to see where this call was going to go. In my mind it was a call for money somehow. The call ended by asking me to stay on the phone to talk to an operator to find out how I can get my copy of this movie.

I am guessing there is money involved in this for why would they give away a movie project? I had heard that Newt was Broke so is this a money venture using history to pull on the heartstrings of Christians (Republicans).

Has anyone received this call and if so what did you think? I think politics anymore is appalling and then when politicians, in any form, begin using God for a rallying cry I think it is sick.
In my view making some movie about America's Godly heritage seems commendable but what is in it for them? Politicians don't do things for the sake of their people. They do projects for gain.

Any opinions?

John

I'm not American, so, just who in the world is Newt?

Thanks.

Newt Gingrich is the former Speaker of the House of Representatives hear in the U S. U S House probably similar to British House of Commons in Parliament. Newt G. served during Clinton presidency. Also Nest G. unsucrssful Republican candidate for President.

Far as I know not born again. He claims to be Catholic. Not a good one at that. He has one or two divorces behind him. One must chuckle to hear Newt talking about America's godly heritage.

Bearmaster.

John, I newer got a phone call from Newt's wife. But have had calls from other telemarketers who promise to fight abortion if you give them money to sustain this battle. Or, they may say your donation will support someone else down on their luck.

I get tired of these calls. I no longer answer them, thanks to caller ID. But one time after I told one caller that I am not interested she said, "so you are not interested in helping..." I told her, "I guess not." They sure know how to put you on a guilt trip. Or, at least they try.

I was annoyed.

About Newt: "His two previous marriages ended in divorce after he had affairs with younger women and when his wives were seriously ill." I find this disgusting, never mind his conservationism - that is just politics. Too bad he won't use it in his own life. Opps! Am I getting too political? SIGH

My opinion and I usually have plenty...:-(

I have gotten to the point that when I get a political call with an actual person asking for money I tell them I won't give anything because it is like giving money to a cookie monster. The machine just eats it up under the guise of whatever cause. It is like government, it can never have too much money and giving money to any cause on a political basis is just throwing money away. This includes those calls that rally the troops for pro life issues, the homosexual agenda thing and whatever else politics wants to use to raise money.

I don't like to get too political myself because it leads to nonsense and arguments so often. With my post I just intend to let everyone know that Newt is on the prowl and his wife is the one with the message. Just don't be dooped by the koolaid they are wanting to hand out.
