God yearns for people who behave like children towards Him and are dependent upon Him. As a Father, God would like to act on behalf of His children and care for them. However, if in our self-will we forcibly try to bring about a solution to our everyday problems, we will not experience His care and intervention.
We will deprive ourselves of a most precious experience: the Father’s loving care, resulting in a carefree, happy heart. So let go of your self-will and stop trying to cope with your problems yourself. Then God will help you.
