God our Father is longing for us to be completely dependent upon Him. Why? — Because He who loves us yearns for us to return His love.
Becoming dependent upon Him of our own free will is a sign that we love Him. It is a sign of trust. God shows His love to those who are prepared to be dependent upon Him. They will experience the bounty of His love.
