Oh! The Blood!

I am so thankful for the blood! The precious blood of the lamb of God! As I was reading last night, the thought crossed my mind that we don’t often hear the message of the blood preached. I’m not saying that we never hear it and perhaps in your neck of the woods you do hear it. Admis all the success and “balance” teaching that we hear. It just gives me such joy to know that it is not by my own good that I can enter into the presence of God, it is not anything I can do. It is not because of the volumes I have read, nor is it due to the talents I possess, or the messages I’ve preached or the messages I’ve heard, it is only and will forever only be through the blood of Jesus. “Having therefore, boldness, brothers, to enter into the holiest BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS” (Heb. 10:19).While this verse is a source of great strength , it also gives me pause. Do I esteem the blood as I should? Do I enter His courts with thankfulness and praise? Do I reverence Him enough because of the blood? May we all seek to put the Glory of God foremost in our lives, that we might not sin against Him. I am just so thankful for the blood that cleans, gives access to the Father and makes atonement for my sin. Just wanted to share what was on my heart this morning.

Wow, that's great Brother Paul. I've been wanting to go through his program as well but the Lord just won't let me do it right now. Please share your experiences. B.H. Clendennen is certainly one of my favorites here on SI. He's an old-time Pentecostal preacher.

GideonsPresuming the Lord has not forbidden you and it is an issue of time I would reccomend that you dip in and out of the program. Obviously going through step by step builds up the saints, but I can gauarntee that even just listening to one session will feed you to bursting. Some of our folk have really come alive as we look again at what used to be the staple diet of christians.I have sat under his direct ministry and what comes accross is a man who at all costs wants to deal with anything that displeases God about himself so you not only hear repentance you see it lived and experienced but all with a real revelation of grace.Paul
