While on earth and before the cross, what was the "work" Jesus completed

C
Croref Aug 7, 2012

"I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do." John 17:4 (KJV)

"Who for the Joy set before Him", Jesus, the man, functioned from His predestined position in the Godhead while in the domain of Satan and was victorious!

What do you mean, Croref?

Your question sounds interesting, could you elaborate on it?

Love-in-Christ,

Crocef,

Jesus was brought into this world to do a work and set an example for
us as to living out by the Spirit,.........being 'led by the Spirit of God, ' .......allowing the Spirit of God,the Father, to do His work in us, as it did in Him.....hearing,...obeying

Jesus said " It is the Father that does the work. " ...He only did what the Father told Him to do,...And only said what the Father told Him to say.
So when He was being put to death,He told the Father, "It is finished"
He had completed the work that He had sent Him to do.

Isn't it such a narrow way ?

Lovingly,
elizabeth
