VICTORY!!

I was able to sing "It is Well With My Soul" this morning in church with a resounding voice and from the depths of my soul - all 4 verses :) - for the first time in several years. For a long time it would reduce me to sobs...Things are not better in my home, indeed they "look" worse, but God seems to have done a work in me :) I praise Him for it! And thank you to anyone who has offered up even one prayer on my family's behalf....

(This is usually posted under the thread "Prayer Please" but I wanted everyone to take note of answered prayer....was it Trekker who said there are seldom any praise reports??)

Well praise the Lord! What a testimony it is to the grace of God in Christ Jesus to have a song in the midst of every circumstance!

I pray that our generation will hear this song in God's people in these days.

The song was a LONG time in coming through the darkest of nights....I was surprised myself at how strong it came out of my heart and voice :) Only God....

God gave you a new song, even if it is an old one, he made it new for you. It is an amazing uplift to hear of the victories of the saints.
