please pray for little girl (update)

May I ask you for prayer. My husbands coworker has a three week old baby girl and she has been put into the hospital with high fever and bacterial meningitis. This is their first child and they are very upset and worried for their little one, her name is Zoey.

If you feel led to please pray for Zoey.

I wish I had better news but little Zoey is still fighting a high fever that will not break. She remains in the hospital where they have her surrounded by ice packs and on breathing tubes. Her dad broke down today he is so worried for his little girl.

Father, please give Zoey life and healing in the name of Jesus, bring healing and restoration to her body and bring her body back to health and strength!! Protect her life and organs and give her parents peace and comfort during this time. In Jesus Name, Amen!

Thank you all for your prayers. My husband as not learned anything new as Zoey dad was not at work but at the hospital yesterday. Will continue to let you know how things are going. From what I understand right now she is still in the hospital, she is not better but she has not gotten worse either.

My husband heard from Zoey's dad, her temperature came down one degree today so its down to 103 now. She is otherwise the same. Her white blood cell count has been really high and there is concern over that.

Please keep little Zoey and her parents in your prayers.

Little Zoey is still in the hospital and on a breathing ventilator. Her temperature has come down a few more degrees but the infection is not fully responding yet to the medications. Her parents are exhausted and just really need prayer.

Dear Heavenly Father, please place Your hand on this little girl. Pour Your healing upon her, that she may not only recover but that she is made whole and new. Give grace to her parents in this situation. If they do not know You, draw them near to You that they may enter the fold of Your sheep who hear Your voice.

Zoey is back home now. She was able to go home just yesterday. It has been a long battle but I know all your prayers made the difference. She does still need breathing treatments and they have to keep a close eye on her but right now she is alert and seems to be doing fine.
