Free Conference On Persecution in Atlanta, GA, Oct 5-6, 2012

Saints,

As we are nearing the time of the conference in Atlanta, we want to encourage you to consider to come to this important event for the body of Christ. We pray it equips and encourages believers to be ready for times that will be coming in the future. It is 100% free to attend live in Atlanta or online via webcast or one of the simulcast locations. Though it is encouraged for you to come to this event which is one night and one day long.

Conference Theme: The Church And Coming Persecution
There has been much prayer and support in the west for those precious saints who suffer for Jesus in restricted and closed nations. Now some choice servants are saying persecution will be coming upon the Church in North America. We are anything but prepared. This simulcast event is geared to warn and help the Church in North America start the process of being ready for persecution.
All speakers have come freely on their own accord not recieving any honorium. The event is 100% free. SermonIndex does not recieve any money from the event. The First Baptist Church is hosting us freely. We believe that this event is an expression of the body of Christ coming together in this critical time. Our desire is simply to see the body of Christ strengthened through this event.

Dear Saints,

Please be in prayer for this event, I do sense the urgent need to cover this event in more prayer, a brother who is speaking at this event has had great spiritual warfare come upon him since he has accepted to speak. I believe the enemy is opposing this conference so we must be in prayer. Yet be encouraged that it is receiving opposition for it is something of consequence to Satan's kingdom and for the glory of God's growing kingdom.

I agree with HeartSong. Surely we must come together in prayer. Last night there was a con call available to lift the Sermon Index conference up in prayer. It was an open call. Anyone could come on and pray.

Seven were on the call. Four people dropped off. One other broher, Greg, and myself covered the conference in prayer. Jesus was present. But why did the others drop off?

As I pondered this before the Lord the Spirit spoke and said there was no commitment to prayer.

Saints this is troubling. This conference may be the most strategic event the Holy Spirit is holding in N. America to awaken the body to persecution. It is not matter of IF persecution comes. IT is HERE. And it will increase. It is not going away. We cannot stick our heads in the sand and hope it passes. It won't.

The persecuted church around the world is sustained by prayer and ask those of us in the west to pray for them. That being the case should we not be praying for the persecuted church in America? Should we not be lifting up the Sermon Index conference in prayer?

Saints if I was sharing on the call. Then I would expect people to drop off. But when the SI administrator comes on to share his heart for the conference and people drop off. I have to wonder?

Ultimately this is spiritual warfare that is being waged over this conference. Jesus has promised victory. But the victory must be waged in prayer. Dr. Charles Stanley has said we are never as tall before God as we are on our knees before him in prayer. It has been said that Satan will scoff at our theology, wisdom, and intellect. But fears the weakest saint in prayer before God.

Brothers and sisters, we have four more con calls left to lift up the SI conference in prayer. We have some good men to lead on these calls. But we need you the saints to come and pray. The enemy does not like what we are doing. He will try to take us out. But we have the guaranteed victory of Christ. But we must pray it in.

Please heed HeartSong's words and let us come together in prayer for the conference. As one brother told me in an email. This conference will only be what God wants it to be when we pray it in. Let us make it so.

I was on that call and I was one who left early but it was not because of a lack of desire to pray. On the contrary some things came up and in the LORD I felt it best at that time to leave the call.I did not want to take away from the calls purpose so I left after you prayed. I wanted you to know that I did however spend much time in prayer for the conference and those speaking about an hour later. I have been praying and will continue to too. I really don't think we should get caught up in numbers so much, remember that when two are gathered in prayer JESUS is there. I was also praying quietly in agreement with both you and Greg until things happened and I had to leave.

Just thought I would share hope to encourage you that we are praying and will continue to. Do not let the enemy discourage you

Amen sister. Thank you for your heart to pray and be led of the Spirit. We rejoiced that there were just 2-3 present to pray and it is more important to have prayers that are unified than just to have people to pray who do not have the burden for these things.

I am glad the Spirit burdened you to pray later and you were led of Him, praise the Lord sister.

Amen brother, there truly is spiritual warfare present and we rejoice in the Lord because of this because we know this conference is having an impact for the Lord's kingdom.
