I noticed you replied to another thread by starting a new one. The way to keep replies orderly is to post your reply in the thread you are responding to. To do this you click on the 'reply' tab on the top right corner of a post. A window will open where you can type your reply.

Hi Used4Him-
I felt the same way the first time I began to read it.
Personally, the prospects of having to suffer to better be able to intercede scared me.
However, I have of many other "greats" who say they were called to a similar kind of ministry.
I don't believe God wants us to needlessly suffer, but I think the kinds of trials that he endured only served to bring him into a closer walk with the Lord and gave him a heart of compassion for the ones he prayed for.
