Just wanted to share this thought with you all. I'm not a poet. . .but here goes. I asked the Lord today, "Master what do you desire of me?"Do you want me to be in missionsto travel o'er land and sea?Should i pray and study and fast really hard?Dress for success and hand out buisness cards? Should i return the "old paths" once again?Or work up something new for TBN?I sat in silance awaintg my call.Hoping and praying the job was not small. He spoke:"Son, I'm glad you long to do your part, but listen close and listen with your heart. My people they are perishing right in the pews I have a mission and it is not just for you. Many times when you come it is for yourselfseeking some benifits, health or wealthWhile it is true that i bless and true that i heal, my people need to know me for real.I need someone to weep for those who falterto cry out to me between porch and altar.I need someone to stand in the gap,Interceed in secret for the things my bride lacks,You have traded Godly integrity and meritFor broken cistern with no water to share it.Jesus he was non stranger to grief, not for himself but for those still asleep. Those that were not awake to His word, sorrow for those who still have not heard. He was bruised and broken for the world at large, Yet we let the devil creep in and take charge. So, son i want you to be a man of heavy heart, grieving for those who from me are apart.Cry in agony for the lost doomed to helland for the lukewarm who think all is well. Go to the highschool and workplace compel them to come in.Preach peace with God through repentance of sin.Be the voice of one crying cut off from the "world",Set apart and willing to be my hearldNo one may ever see and no one may ever know, will you do this for me and not for show?"I thought to my self "Burden of sorrow?!?" "I'll do it my Lord, but can it wait till tommorw?"Let us be vigilant now. Tommorrow may be to late.
