I was talking with a friend trying to encourage her as she goes through a rough time. As I spoke with her, she had doubts of her faith, doubts of God's love, and just utter confusion. This is when I realized and truly acknowledged that there is a battle going on and this battle is very real! We have an adversary that is seeking our destruction, and 99% of people fail to either acknowledge the adversary or don't take the reality of him seriously. Which is just plan odd because if there was something in the room that was putting my children in danger and myself in danger I wouldn't be taking that situation lightly but sadly many Christians do.
If you want free from Sin you must suit up for battle and fight because there are real spiritual matters at hand. Not only Spiritual but carnal ones as well your own flesh will seek to betray you so the only one in this fight you can truly trust is Christ Jesus and trust Him alone! Follow the Orders of the Holy Spirit and listen with all your might. The battle is raging and the devil is raging we don't want to be sleeping while this battle is raging.
