I would appreciate prayer for our neighbour David, who late last year was diagnosed with a terminal cancer in the stomach, which has spread across his chest. He is somewhat of a hardened atheist, having read much of books like 'The God Delusion' etc, although we have made some inroads to their lives over this hard time, providing meals, support, and are volunteering to help with the medical support he needs. We have even managed to get them to receive tracts, and have spoken of praying for them, which they seem to appreciate.
He now has a matter of days, possibly some weeks left to live as his health is rapidly deteriorating, and we are broken over the fact that we simply don't know if this man is destined for hell or into the arms of glory.
I weep writing this, because the impact on both of us as Christians has caught us unawares.
I appreciate your prayers on this, that he may know salvation in Christ, no matter how long he has left to live.
