Testimony From listening to: Coming Persecution message by Brian Long

sermonindex Oct 9, 2012

Saints,

I received this email testimony and thought I would share:

As I listened to this message, the Lord reminded me of just how little I am, how powerless I am, how dependent I am. I am reminded how much I need His power, His love, His mercy, His grace, His Spirit, His rememberance. The message below hits the main issue on the head and brings to light the goodness, love and grace of Almighty God in the coming persecution of the saints in the Western world.

Brian Long shares the passion that the Lord has bestowed upon him and the reality of prayer and resting in Christ. When listening to this message, not only did I think upon my failures and needs, but also verses that the Lord has been quickening in me. Scriptures about, abiding in and with Christ (John 15), not being deceived from the simplicity of Christ (2 Corinthians 11:3), not leaving my first love (Rev. 2), etc. I was reminded, encouraged and given comfort by Brian's closing the message with the knowing of God in reality and true prayer.

Without a doubt, this message is an encouragement to every truly regenerate (born again) follower of Jesus Christ. For the luke-warm it is a warning call to run to Christ in truth, in Spirit and in reality. For the unconverted, oh see what joy there is in Christ. Believer, put away the things of this world and seek the living God whoes thoughts are higher than our thoughts, whoes love far exceeds our love, whoes power is of saving power, whoes testimony is true, right and just.

Church, now is your time, more than ever, rise up; it's time-2-stand.

Jeremy Strang.

Christian. Husband. Father.

Hi bro,

This was an e-mail testimony that I received and thought it would edify.............

Hi there brother Frank.

Just listened to Brother Brian's sermon last night and I have to say it was one of the best I have ever heard and I have heard probably more than most since I listen to them at my workplace. I'm not wanting to get into any sermon critique so don't get me wrong here...I heard his message loud and clear. What's special about his sermon is that it wasn't a sermon....it was a message, a plea, an unction and utterance straight from heaven. Through him God took a rod to the American dream Gospel, exhorted the remnant to stay with the vision given and set before them, and took us back to the simple love for others in prayer for the lost, and caring for the needy. Not much more needs to be said...just go and do. I was convicted and shaken...we can all do more in Christ

I'm a little speechless at how he can articulate with such clarity what has been on my heart for so long It seems Lazarus has been at the door and the fatted prosperity slumbering church has stepped over him. I see the rich man in this parable as a type of last day church....too rich, prideful and occupied to look down. And his discernment on Sodom and Gomorrah was him just letting the Bible speak for itself, who could argue?? What a blessing truth brings and I thank God for brother Brian's devotion to the calling upon him.
