I'm teaching a session about worship this coming week (particularly focussing on the praise and thanksgiving side of worship).
I'm just wondering if anyone has any testimonies of healings, miracles etc which have happened while they were involved in worship? Or, do you know of any testimonies from the lives of well-known Christians or revivals?

Hey Sally. We were on our faces worshipping in the awesome presence of God, when my 8 yr old daughter interrupted me, to tell me that she just saw a round throne with stairs leading up farther than she could see, covered with angels who were all looking up singing the song that was playing in our meeting.
On another occasion a boy 10 yrs old saw Jesus on the cross, gripped by how alone He was. As the worship continued, the cross rose through the clouds, turning as it rose, then as it broke into the heavens, the cross became a throne on which Jesus sat and He was then surrounded by multitudes singing 'Worthy is the Lamb'
These things happened. I was there. We were all weeping and in awe of the Most High for sure.

Please forgive me but I get excited about this. On the thought of praise and thanksgiving.
You don't get to 1st base with God without being thankful.
We enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. I used this model with the children I was training to be worshippers of Jesus.
1st base Thanks, or being grateful
2nd base praise of ALL kinds
3rd base worship (on your face)
home base intimacy
This curcuit is good to build intimacy for life and is good for all believers. It all starts with thanksgiving.
