Woman beheaded for refusing prostitution; Islam, Sharia exposes it's desire.

Times are sad.

Brothertom

I agree that times are indeed sad but we must be careful not to blame every act of violence in middle eastern countries on Islam.
I would like to know what part of this crime would be condoned by sharia law. To my knowledge it isn't. This is a crime of violence and it may or may not be acceptable or common in the Afghan culture but it's not necessarily the teaching of the koran.
I lived in a place where Christians were perhaps 1% of the population. There was much ignorance as to how a Christian lived and what the bible taught. As a result, the people in that place blamed everything bad that happened in western countries on the fact that they were "Christian."

Because of what I saw, I am convinced that we must have a higher standard and have integrity in all things making sure we don't make assumptions and generalizations.

I see a rising sentiment that is reflected in posts like this one on SI and other sites where Christians are talking and I wonder what good it can produce.
Should it rally us to hatred for Islam or rally us to fight for women's rights?
Will that honor Jesus?

Darkness is darkness no matter what it's package looks like. Everyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ is in darkness.
There is such darkness in the world, may it be a mere tool in our God's hand to plow stony hearts to receive Him.
We need to pray for those who are being tormented by the evil around them. Pray that they will cry out to the author of Life for help and mercy. God hears every heart cry and He is not too weak to show Himself to those that do not yet know Him.

There is a vast difference in "rallying for "WOMEN'S RIGHTS"...as in the standard fare of the Feminist's movement about sexual "freedom" and independence from the rule of any man...and being beheaded in a society because you do not have any rights as a human being; not even the right to live, if you do not submit to your Families wishes.

These are called "HONOR KILLINGS"....AND are not prosecuted, generally, in the Society of the Taliban...as the Koran and Islamic tradition order the absolute Dominion of the Father over the children, and the parent over the Child. There have been many such beheadings of young girls, and many of those because they had the misfortune to be raped' and this young girl was accused of prostitution, AFTER she refused to do so, and then summarily murdered. [ It is reported that these people were arrested..]...But...add this to this young girl, who just wanted an Education.....She was shot multiple times in the face....

"The murder [ of the "prostitute"] comes after reports of a 15-year-old Pakistani girl who was shot by Taliban as she headed home from school in the northwest Swat Valley.

Yousufzai said Friday that she is able to stand with help and to write, though she still shows signs of infection.

This is the Nature of Pure Islam...and where it is heading around the Earth. There are now MANY entire countries that practice a radical Sharia Culture, as this; Saudia Arabia and Yemen being Examples...where the infidel..[ one who will not submit ]...is taken to trial by the Tribal chiefs, and a Fatwah is issued....not necessarily within pure Koran Law....but within the territory of the Mullah who commands it....such as was with these two 14 year old girls.

Your not the only person who has ministered in Islamic stronghold..[ if you did minister there, or just quietly lived there...]....but there is a time for the Christian to say; "THIS IS WRONG....AND EVIL!".....

I love those enslaved by Islamic Tradition, and those in the Taliban need Jesus and His Love....and I do not hate them. The Islamic way of life, as in these instances; Brutal crimes against innocent children, need to be exposed for what they are; pure evil...and yes...let us pray for Islam and beg God to set them free.

Will you proclaim this as evil? while proclaiming Jesus as one who sets all men free? that receive Him and His Lordship?....by the way....that is exactly what cost John the Baptist his head.

I agree with Onemite. I know several Muslims in my city whom I interact almost daily and you couldn't find a more gentler people (save believers that is). The Muslims that I know just want to raise their families, do business and worship in their Mosques. If they have a hidden agenda, I haven't seen it. If they hate me so much, why would they let me handle their children?

It is the extremism of any religion, even Christianity that bring evil. There have been stories where Christians and Moslens lived size by side for generations as friend and neighbors. Yet the extremist will come in create division and heart ache. In our desire to reach people with tbe gospel we are to focus on the individual's need for Christ. Not rile against the evils of their religion.

Paul and Silas ministered in one of the most demonic cities in the known world in New Testament times. Yet even the administrator of Ephesus said these men who have not blasphemed our goddess or robbed temples. Paul preached the gospel of Jesus. He did not rile against the demonic cult of Artemus. I believe their is wisdom to be gleaned from Paul's experience in Ephesus.

Brothertom , you've challenged my thinking by sharing your perspective. It will need some time to settle in.

I agree that it is good to share God's way but my point is that as Christians(who are on the outside of these places), how we interpret headlines and what we do with them must show integrity. We can't wage war the way the world does. I think once again I have began a discussion that I am unable or unwilling to fully engage in. I'm sorry. Somehow I thought that by putting it in print it would come together and make better sense.

So how should the Christian respond to stories like the one you posted about? My question is sincere. When we read such things how ought it be received and what do you suggest we do to bring Truth to the situation?

A Jewish professor on the faculty of the university in Lviv, Ukraine, whose last name is Freifeld, was murdered by three Arab students, Arutz Sheva has learned.

According to initial details, the three students had failed in their studies and sought revenge for their dismissal from the university. They decided to murder their Jewish professor.

These details have not been confirmed by other sources.

Freifeld's brother, Dr. Vadim Freifeld, who teaches at Ben Gurion University, received the news Friday and got on a plane to Ukraine. He informed his colleagues of the murder before boarding the flight.

The number of Jews in Lviv is estimated at 2,000, out of a total population of about 850,000.

Some things are best not provoked. It wouldn't be difficult to demonstrate the perversity of Arabic life.

What is the purpose?

How ought a follower of Christ receive this kind of news so that his heart is kept from hate and resentment and pride?

May I point out the Arabs are NOT are enemies. No more than tbe Chinese or the Iranians or the Israelites. We have one enemy. His name is Satan. We come against the demonics of the various religions the devil uses to deceive tbe people of tbe earth. We do it through the preaching of tbe gospel. The sharing of Jesus with individuals that need to be freed from that religious demonic system.

But to judge races is to go against those whom God created. As Paul said in Acts 17. God created the peoples of tbe earth. He fixed tbe places where they should live. He did that so men would seek him. And God is moving mightily among tbe Arabs.

It is man that looks upon tbe outward appearance. But God is looking at the heart.

Dear sister I am not sure I have an easy answer for tbe valid question you posed. As one who moderates a conference call where we pray for the persecuted I read heart retching accounts almost daily. There are times I get angry at the persecutors. But I am reminded the anger of man does not bring about the righteous life God desires.

I am reminded of Jesus who said Father forgive them. For they know not what they do. And Stephen who said Lord do not hold this sin against them. Jesus taught we are to pray for our enemies. Sister I pray for God to deliver those who do evil to come to Jesus.

Onemite I do not know if this addresses your question. But do pray that God will give you the answer you seek.

Much blessing be on you dear sister.

Amen Bearmaster, probably the best answer yet. We wrestle not with flesh and blood but with spiritual wickedness in high places. Christ not only died for man but made atonement for his sins "once for all". The world is cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ, but not all know it. The light of Gods truth needs to be taken to them so that all men who dwell in darkness can see the light of the redemption that is in Christ and acknowledge that Christ indeed is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

Islamist Sect Kill at Least 30 in Nigeria.
By AGENCE FRANCE-
Published: October 20, 2012...

KANO, Nigeria (Agence France-Presse) — Gunmen killed seven people in the northeastern city of Potiskum on Saturday, raising the death toll to at least 30 during three days of violence, the police and residents said.

The gunmen, suspected of being members of the radical Islamist sect Boko Haram, shot and killed seven people, including a retired customs chief and his son, whose house was looted before it was burned early on Saturday, the police and neighbors said.

Potiskum, the commercial hub of Yobe State, has been hit hard by near daily acts of violence in recent weeks.

Before Saturday’s shootings, attacks by people thought to be Islamists that began on Thursday had already left at least 23 other people dead and several buildings destroyed.

A nurse at the general hospital in Potiskum said Saturday that 20 bodies had been delivered to the morgue, and residents said at least three bodies had been buried by relatives after Thursday’s attacks

I just returned[ prematurely as it was with the death of my mother...] from North East Africa; the seed bed of hoards of radical Muslim sects that await to confront you with violence. We MUST love the Muslim, but also understand that unless they are saved, and born again, they are damned.

Allah will lead them to Hell and the Lake of fire, and YES...they need the Gospel. It is the only way to Heaven. This is love, and it is united with the TRUTH...and it is the steel that MOTIVATED every Christian martyr that ever was, and Satan's roar [ terrorism] to shut up the truth...Jesus and His Blood saves ALONE! Here-in is Love, and how foolish it is to brand these acts of so many missionaries that proclaim it, as mere condemnation of a Religious group. [ I am not worthy to carry their bags...]

Prayer and more prayer.......that God will make a way for millions bound will hear the good news, and know the Lord-ship of the True God....who is filled with real mercy and abundant love....and He will....for it is written!

" I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”

This is what I want to give my life to, and death for....and in the end, all that matters. There is an enemy, and it is not flesh and blood.

In 1986 I listened to a brother with 22 years experience of sharing the gospel with Moslems preach on how to evangelise Moslem’s. One thing that I remember was a distinction that he drew between the different “spirits” of Islam. He used the life of Mohammad as his example drawing on the two recognised parts of Mohammad’s life. The first had to do with Madinah where he was said to have begun his prophetic ministry. The other was Mecca where he finalised his activities. The brother described Madinah as a descendant or minoritive spirit and Mecca as an ascendant or majoritive spirit. The difference between them was a spirit of tolerance and mercy in the descendant and a violent and murderous spirit in the ascendant. This was preached in a district of Leicester where there were 9,000.00 Moslem’s at that time. If this were preached today in that district there would be a riot. Today there are over 30,000.000 Moslems in that same district.

Whilst standing against a Hindu abomination in that same city a few years later only three people opposed the rebuke as well as the preaching of the Gospel. One was Mr Keith Vaz Member of Parliament, who told me that he would ring the police and tell them that we were causing a public disorder and a breach of the peace. Although this was not true at all. He touched my hand and said to me “I too believe in the bible”. Then went off to see a man being carries on a golden throne to be worshiped as God by his followers. The other man was a Moslem who threatened to go and fetch his friends and a van and take us away to kill us. The Hindu’s in contrast were well behaved and reasonable. The third was an intellectual from the University of Leicester, which was next door to De Montfort Hall where the adoration of Prabuk Swami was to take place. When this lecturer saw us his eyes became full of anger and it was all he could do to restrain himself. Three “spirits” of opposition; Political, Islamic and Intellectual; Nothing has changed.

I think that it is one thing to recognise something of the reality that when Islam is ascendant it is a very different spirit to when it is descendent. It is more difficult to recognise that Sharia Law as practised in some Moslem countries is brutal and cruel in the extreme. It is naïve to say that the problem of brutality and cruelty that is enshrined in Sharia Law reflects a few extremists. Certainly there are extremists and it is doubtful that many of them are in any way “normal” even by the standards of their own countries. Yet this does not mean that Islamic Sharia Law is just or merciful. It is not. It is a complete false hood to liken it to a peace loving religious system that in the most part stands for decency and justice. The fact that Islam is made up of may peoples, nations and tribes simply means that it is perceived as reasonable because many of these people are reasonable. As a spirit it is murderous and destructive when it is challenged or when it is ascendant.

There is another thread here on SI, which is entitled The Boston Martyrs. In that account, as in many other accounts, it is possible to read of the brutality of Christian authorities against other Christian believers in the past. This is one kind of cruelty and reflects an undoubted religious attitude of cruelty and intolerance amongst Christians in the past and most likely today as well. This is a problem because from it we might be tempted to speak of a “Christian” religious spirit. I am inclined to think that what you have are “cruel and religious men”, not spirits but men. Was there a spiritual beneficiary from the suffering of the martyrs? Yes it was Christ Himself. Were some men cruel and unmerciful? Yes without doubt. One could say the same in Islam. The difference really is an obvious one. The Holy Spirit was sent to reveal Christ not Islam. Therefore no spirit of Islam to make converts of men was sent by or could be of The Holy Spirit. If any one doubts that Islam is a proselytic religion then they have no understanding at all as far as Islam is concerned. When it does reap a harvest it will be Islam or death and it will be by the sword not by The Holy Spirit. What that will mean for those who take the name of Christ remains to be seen. One thing is for sure it will not yield a “lovely Arabic culture” or peoples. Finally Islam is Arabic. Read the history books.

http://books.google.co.uk/books?hl=en&lr=&id=pMuxLlWih04C&oi=fnd&pg=PA9&dq=The+perversity+of+Arabic+life&ots=z0P1BV-04C&sig=Uzqj9RVgTzWCOLf-VOtqoDsDsW4#v=onepage&q&f=false

For anyone who doesn’t understand what the word perversity means in the context of Arabic life the above link will explain it well. There is no assumption of hate resentment or pride here sister. Just reality.

Revelation 12:17
Then tbe dragon was enraged at tbe woman and went off to make war against tbe rest of her offspring---those who obey God's commandments and hold to tbe testimony if Jesus.

Ephesians 6:12
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against tbe rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against tbe spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm

Saints we are engaged against demonic forces in this world. Our war is NOT against the Arabic people, but the demonic spirit that drive Islam. Our war is NOT against the people of India. But against tbe demonic spirit that drives Hinduism. Our war NOT against tbe people of Myanmar. But against tbe demonic spirit that drives Buddhism.

We must distinguish between the people caught up in tbe darkness these various religions and the demonics of tbe religion itself. The people are not our enemy. It is Satan himself.

It is said John 3:16 beats with God's heart throb of people, people, people. Jesus told Peter that he would ve a fisher of men. God is redeeming men and women from every nation. Setting them free by tbe blood of his Son.

If we fail to make the distinction between people and the demonic spirit they are caught up on. Then we ourselves will be caught up in a demonic spirit of racism. And this is a stench in God's eyes. It stems from a sin if pride

In Arkansas where I live two reminders of tbe sin of nationalistic pride stand out. Across tbe northern part of our state are markers that commemorate the Trail of Tears. The markers remind of an injustice done to a civilized First Nations People who were forced off tbeir lands by the Federal government to Oklahoma. Many died on that trail. Those that died were of the Cherekee nation. An injustice some say done in tbe name of God for nationalistic pride
.
Another reminder of nationalistic pride is Rohr AR. Here the remains of a detention center for Japanese Americans lie. After the bombing of Perk Harbor. Many Japanese Americans were imprisoned without due process because of the hysteria and nationalistic pride of WWII.

If we are not careful we will fall into the trap of judging Arabs as we judged the First Nations people and the Japanese. Nationalistic pride is a sin in God's sight.

We need to be reminded of Peter who learned from his vision when he told Cornelius. I now realize God does not show favoritism. But accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is right.

Caps are for emphasis only.

"The difference between them was a spirit of tolerance and mercy in the descendant and a violent and murderous spirit in the ascendant. ".AMRKelly****************

The greatest ascendancy since the days of Mohammad himself began again on September 11, 2001; the days the towers fell, and are in exponential full swing as we speak.
******************************************
"And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall;

" Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound."******************************

One of the oddest scriptures out there, and purely prophetic; as in context it associates with one thing only; THE GREAT DAY OF THE LORD!....and the healing of the "stroke of their wound! Jesus will bind that wound on His return at Jerusalem, when He slaughters a 200 million man army gathered to slaughter Israel. THE DAY THE TOWERS FALL! is the world wide birth of the ascendancy of the Anti-Christ, and the New rise of Violent Dominion of Allah.

So, who do you think numbers that army; the army of the anti-Christ....It is an Islamic army, forming today. There are an estimated 40-60 million 5-14 year old boys and girls, in every radical Ashram and Mosque school on the planet that train every morning with oaths to destroy America and destroy the Jews, just like we school children used to say the Pledge of Allegiance every day.

Last Year, the Muslim/Marxist Obama regime, sided with Socialist American power brokers made sure we overthrew any resistance to the Taliban or Al Qaeda type radicals...and financed, and participated in every Muslim Nation listed below:

The Arab Spring, a term given to the Arab Revolution is a revolutionary wave of demonstrations and protests occurring in the Arab world that began on 18 December 2010.

To date, rulers have been forced from power in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, and Yemen; and civil uprisings have erupted in Bahrain and Syria...[BIG NOW!]; and major protests have broken out in Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco,[ and Sudan; and minor protests have occurred in Lebanon,[BIG NOW!] Mauritania, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Djibouti, and Western Sahara.

The major oil rich nations (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman) have been able to keep their ruling families in power....[ FOR NOW....BUT THIS IS AN IGNORANT IDEA. THE SAUDI'S AND SUCH ARE ANOINTED BY ALLAH TO BE THE BANKING/BUSINESS CLASS, AND FAITHFULLY FINANCE RADICAL ISLAM ACCORDING TO THE LEADING MULLAH'S DIRECTION, or else.]

Clashes at the borders of Israel in May 2011,[20] and the protests by the Arab minority in Iranian Khuzestan erupted in 2011 as well. Weapons and Tuareg fighters returning from the Libyan civil war stoked a simmering rebellion in Mali, and the consequent Malian coup d'état has been described as "fallout" from the Arab Spring in North Africa.

The sectarian clashes in Lebanon [ Huge today!] were described as a spillover violence of the Syrian uprising and hence the regional Arab Spring. Most recently, in September 2012 a wave of social protests swept Palestinian Authority, demanding lower consumer prices and resignation of the Palestinian Prime Minister Fayyad." [ wiki infused.]

"And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon."

This is the Prince of Persia himself; and his name IS in the Bible...[ ALA MAHOZIEM..in Chaldean in Daniel, describing the anti-Christ].****"The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition:

..and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is."

Islam is challenging the World as we speak[ Iran?]....and is gaining power every day, as we are losing it. This is the will of God, as all authority will be given to Allah and his surrogates, to prove those who love Him more, and I believe that this violence is coming right here to main street, and it will be our choice if we love Jesus and refuse to bow the knee to Allah, and Sharia, or spill your blood.

There are just people in the balances...not races or religions...and our heart ought to be that they and all would be saved and not damned.
