TRUE AMERICA...A sign of the times in our Presidential Election: APOSTASY!

How deep can deception sink? In the current Presidential election, we have two up front non-Christians.....and you may be bold enough to say anti-Christians. [ I'm not saying don't vote at all....but pointing out a sign of the times.] Who would ever have dreamed in a million years we would have a Mormon and a Muslim running for the top office? Nobody.

This is getting ridiculous. When was the last time there was a real Christian to vote for in the Presidential election?? Not in the last 160 years or so. We've had womanizers, phsycic consulters, KKK members, Masons, diests who denied the diety of Christ, a Catholic, crooks, liars, cheats, etc etc.... but no true Christians. At least not any that made it to the Presidential election.

Obama is not a Muslim. He is a Universalist. So was GW Bush. Bush said several times that Muslims and Christians serve the same God. Thats exactly what Obama says he believes. And these two men were NOT the first Presidents to be Universalist.

Of course it's apostasy! What do you expect? It's a secular government.

So why all the angst now?

For me, it doesn't matter if he is a Christian or not. If he has leadership, and has a good and reasonable record of governing, than he is worth a try.

And the reason WHY the nations have become what they are is because of US (not United States) but us. We are to blame, our forefathers of the Christian faith have relaxed their hands and settled in with the world. When one hedge comes down there is a gap in the field, and another.

I am not talking about getting the right President in office, not that at all, but standing up against the tide of filth that has come our way. When the going gets tough we sit down. We talk the big talk in front of the monitor and through our keyboard but when the rubber meets the road, we cower in a corner, hoping that someone else will do it.

I remember years ago. There used to be a famous illusionist that would come into our region named ReVeen and when we found out that he was coming to our city, the Churches united against it and prayed and sought God and God honoured that request he never came and never came for many many years after. In the last few years though, he has been sniffing around again and is coming for a night show. And guess where he is performing? I shudder to think of it. He is performing at the very place that people prayed against him. It was once a theatre, than a Church for many years than a theatre again. It was the place of happenings, where the power of God was in full demonstration.

So we have the power, but the thing we lack friends is the power to stand together.

Acts 4:24 ...... they lifted up their voice to God with ONE ACCORD, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:

Acts 4:29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,

Acts 4:30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

I don't know about you, but I sure could stand to be filled again with the Holy Spirit.
