I am not posting this to politically support any candidate, but to demonstrate an encouraging shift in values.
In 2008 MANY Afrincan-Americans voted for Obama mainly because of his ethnos and their ethnic pride. My brother (who is white, but married to an African American … and who voted for Obama in 2008) has radically changed his views toward Obama this year.
He posted a very encouraging article on his facebook regarding the issue: http://www.conservativehq.com/article/10374-same-sex-marriage-costing-obama-african-american-support
These are defining moments in our history! It is encouraging to see people defining their values by their belief in Biblical principles and not by ethnic pride. I liked a line in the last paragraph a lot:
“That’s a big story. However, it is not being reported because, in the prejudiced eyes of the liberal establishment media, it is unthinkable that African-Americans might vote their Christian faith instead of their ethnic pride --”
As we know … ethnic pride is hard for any culture to break away from, but when they are doing it for the TRUTH of God's Word … GLORY TO GOD!
