I went to hell

J
jenny1234 Oct 29, 2012

I was living a sinful life when this happened to me.

One night as I lay in bed, eyes closed, just about to fall asleep, I was suddenly, literally, frozen in fear. I tried to move my body but I could not move anything. I then tried to move one of my fingers but I could not move that either. I was paralysed with fear. I continued trying to move but it was futile. My body wouldn’t respond to any commands my brain gave. I could hear a whirlwind. It was a terrifying sound, in the darkness. God’s wrath was on me. Next thing I knew I was no longer in bed. I was cast out of my body into outer darkness, a BLACK darkness. I knew I was there for a reason, I was going to hell, I was on my own. I knew there was something on its way to me, as it got closer to me, each timeI became more terrified. As it came really close I knew who it was, it was the devil. Horror overwhelmed me. Terror took a hold of me, I was shaking and trembling in fear, it was so intense I FAINT.

KJV Psalm 58:9 before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath.

KJV Matthew 25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Do you believe that Jesus Christ the Son of God has come in the flesh?

Are you born again of the Spirit of God?

It may be beneficial to take a look at this old thread:

From one of the old posts:

I've suffered from sleep paralysis on and off all my life. I first remember experiencing it when I was like 8 or 9 years old. You're about to fall to sleep when suddenly your mind awakens and you are totally cognizant of where you are, how you are laying, everything - only, you can't move. You can hardly breathe. You can barely move a limb. Pressure builds upon your chest, like a weight, and you try to to move your lips to make a sound. No air is able to come from your lungs. Everything is paralyzed, and the sensation you experience is one of intense growing terror.

It almost invariably occurs while you're on your back, drifting off to sleep. Sometimes, right before the paralysis sets in, you may experience something dark "leap" on your chest. The Scandinavians call this "being ridden by the witch" in their folklore. Other times, you may experience an unseen, dark force slowly pulling the blanket off your body. Extreme terror is always present.

This is actually a fairly common sleeping disorder, affecting men more than women for some strange reason. Ungodly, unsaved people experience it just as much as saved people; the same symptoms, the same moving of the blanket, the "leap" on the chest, the helpless terror. Apparently, when the body drifts into certain degrees of pre-sleep, muscle relaxation levels are altered. Just like your computer, the body has a "sleep mode" where the part of the brain controlling muscle response goes on standby. Your consciousness, however, is governed by another section of the brain, and if, for some reason, your consciousness is aroused before the muscle response can go off standby, you get the feeling of helpless detachment, or what doctors call sleep "paralysis".

I’ve never suffered from sleep paralysis, thank you for your advice. The experiences I had brought me closer to God and I become a mature Christian because of them.

It does not surprise me at all that God chose at this moment while your body was going through a shut down of motor processes. His ways are above our ways, why He does one things is beyond our comprehension, but they are for a reason and for Jeremy this was his wake-up-call. Whether the paralysis was caused by God or not, that seems to be the lighter part of the experiences. The greater part is that Jeremy responded and pursued after God. That alone is worth a few Hallelujahs.

Somethings can be explained while others should be pondered as either an act of God or something beyond our understanding and comprehension.

David Wilkerson upon receiving "The Vision" back in 1973 said that he was transfixed, he could not move. He was for a moment paralyzed.

Your waking dream seems to be brief, is there more to share?

As Christians, we have to consider that there is a spiritual realm. Like Paul stated "the powers of the darkness of this age" principalities, authorities, rulers. And we believe in this spiritual realm and we fight against these rulers as christians not with flesh and blood.

Doctors usually are not aware of the spiritual realm. So they have scientific explanation for everything. Sometimes it is right and sometimes it is wrong. For example. In the time of Christ, there were dump and deaf people and when they came to Christ, it was a demon that is cast out of them and soon they would begin to speak and hear. If they go to doctors, they would be given explanation. The doctors would probably say "his ear drum is thorn due to heavy sound or with an object" But the cause was the demon inside the man. Look at depression, medications are not most of the time solution but when a person gives his life to Jesus the depression is gone. Sometimes things are not only physical that can be explained away with psychical interpretations.

Doctors might call it sleep paralysis but look to the terror and fear associated with it. The cause might be in the spiritual realm where the person needs God's deliverance... and these kind of experience, when they lead someone to the acceptance of the Lord Jesus and when we see that positive furit, it is obvious that a spiritual experieance has taken place.

Your sis. in christ

It sounds like you had some sort of dream or supernatural experience. Obviously you did NOT go to Hell. That is proven by the fact that you say you felt the devil present and coming towards you. The devil is not yet IN Hell, he is roaming the earth and has not yet been cast into the Lake of Fire. He probably inhabited Hitler and will most certainly be here to inhabit the AntiChrist/Son of Perdition and once you go to Hell you do NOT ever get out. Whatever experience you had, God allowed it to remind you of your mortality and of judgment.
