Hope in Winter Long!
When nought is seen but that by grace first given
What gain is full if full is less than all He gave
When first fruits end comes winter long and barren
What fruits will bear if summer comes again
Lay now the seeds which prayer will often water
Dark night of dark and unseen growth to bear
By faith the spring will show its hand and living hope
Made certain through obedience fruits to bear again
